HORNET SOCCER FALLS ON SECOND HALF GOAL TO #10 TSU
September 20, 2008 -- The Hornets fell to #10 Truman 1-0 at the TRYSA Complex on Saturday. ESU only allowed the tenth ranked Bulldogs three shots on goal and won the corner kicks 4-3. Isabel Gaeta scored the TSU goal in the 67th minute of the game after a Theresa Bauler pass beat goalkeeper Jennifer Stillmock.
Alicia Smith had three shots for the Hornets while defender Raquel White had the only shot on goal for ESU. Stillmock finished with two saves on the night as she fell to 2-2 on the season.
The Hornets are now 3-4 on the year and will travel to Southwest Baptist on Sept. 24 for a 4 p.m. match.
