ESU SOCCER SLATED SEVENTH
August 1, 2007-The Emporia State soccer program was ranked seventh in the MIAA Coaches Preseason poll released by the conference office.
Head coach Jim Schneiderhahn is back for his second year, the first time since 2002-03 ESU has had the same coach in back to back years. The Hornets return ten players that started at least ten games a year ago, led by sophomore Alicia Smith and junior Sarah Tetuan.
Emporia State was 3-15-1 last season, adjusting to their fourth coach in four years.
