OLD BUSINESS

• Update on Jen Thomas’ Fundraiser
• Change in Price
• We agreed to establish at least a SAAC dance team, or to compile interested athletes from more than one team together
• A team must have a minimum of 8 participants, but more is allowed as well
• Any Polos not purchased yet?
• Canned Food Drive Recap è Lynnsey and Katie
• Figures sent into MIAA, we will hear our conference placement soon
• Sportsmanship Creed è Statement that says WHY the word (spend about 1 minute on each)
• H - honor
• Remember that it is a privilege to be an ESU athlete.

NEW BUSINESS

• Voting for new officers for 2008-2009
• President - Shelley Marsh (Soccer)
• Vice President - Megan Dennis (Softball)
• Secretary / Treasurer - Justin Wieser
• New officers will need to meet before the next SAAC meeting as they will be running the meeting
• Wal Mart without Peer nominations (Carmen)
• Will work on nominations later
• Buzz the Dorms Update (Kent) è event scheduled for March 24 th
• SAAC would like to get these flyers in the Cafeteria as well
• All spring sports athletes meet in a central location
• Break off into groups of 3, mixed sports preferred
• Spread through all dorms with flyers
• Senior Prom sign-up sheets (SAAC members will help plus 3 to 4 teammates who really want to be there from each team
• Have team sign up sheets back to Carmen by April 1
• All SAAC Dance Lesson 3/11 and 3/27 (everyone needs to bring back another person for the next lesson)
• Escort / Ushers - Aaron Burris
• Greeters / Flowers - Megan Dennis
• Table Hosts - Mike Loporto (Meg D’s girls would transition to this too)
• Mingler / Dancers - Cameron Babb
• Food Runners / Servers - Shelley Marsh
• Pictures - Jennifer Robinson
• Decortation Sessions - Jaclyn Sill
• 9 AM to 2 PM, 3 workers per session, 2 helium tanks (fill a lot of balloons)
• Thoughts on video sent - KU’s Talent / Skit Show a model for next year’s Brother / Sister Bash?
• Skits from each team…fun, maybe tell about last year’s season
• Seated at tables that split up sports (EX: each table will say who can sit there, one track boy, one soccer girl, one softball girl, two football players, etc.)
• All athletes attend, not just new comers
• What are your thoughts?
• Themes, food for athletes
• Portion of Competition Board prize money could go to the team that wins Skit Night
• Bro/Sis Committee will meet to discuss.
• Athlete Dance Updates
• Time - 9-11
• Dress - Casual (what you would wear out) instead of semi-formal
• Spring Football - divided into teams for competitions, coaches will give points for team with most football players attending SA Dance
• Other ways to get guys there???

March 24th - Storm the Dorms—Baseball, Softball, Track and Tennis
March 27th - Dance Lessons 9:00pm—Dance Studio
Have names of Dance-a-Thon Participants for Carmen
April 1 - Have team sign-up for Senior Prom help to Carmen
April 3rd - Senior Citizen Prom (7-9pm)
April 3rd - Student Athlete Party (9-11pm)
April 22nd - Final SAAC Meeting @ 7AM (Breakfast provided—new officers take over and Walmart without peer is voted on)
May 7th - Senior Banquet
