Assistant CoachJoey Boese is the safeties coach for the Hornets after playing the last four seasons for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League. He was a CFL West Division All-Star in 2004 after recording 92 tackles and three interceptions.
The California native spent time as an off season assistant coach with Mater Dei ( Calif.) HS during his CFL playing days.
He started 27 games during his collegiate playing career at the University of Wisconsin and was a member of the 1999 and 2000 Rose Bowl Championship teams.
