HORNET OFFENSIVE LINE CONTINUES INTERVIEW SCHEDULE

August 12, 2009-The offensive line will begin the offensive portion of the 2009 training camp interview schedule for Emporia State on Wednesday, August 12 outside the Lakeview Cafeteria.

Although ESU is returning three players that started at least five games on the offensive line last season, Steve Underwood is the only upper classman among the four.

There are five redshirt freshmen and two true freshmen among the 13 players on the training camp roster of linemen.

Ben McKaig and Jordan Godberson were slated as starters for all 11 games as redshirt freshmen.

Randy Holladay saw action if four games for the Hornets as a redshirt freshman.

John Buckman joins the Hornets after redshirting at Miami (Ohio) last year. The 6-8, 328 pound Garnett, Kan. native was a second-team All-Jayhawk performer at Coffeyville Community College.

Ayo Ademiluyi is a 6-6, 320 punder from Dartford, England that is slated to play his first year of collegiate football for the Hornets and could provide great size at the tackle position.

The average size of the 13 players on the first day of camp was 6'3.5" and 286 pounds, with the six non-freshman weighing in at 6'4.25" and 301 pounds.
