
November 11, 2008-Seven Emporia State football players earned All-MIAA honors in a vote of the league's coaches. Three of the selected players were freshmen.
Junior Angelo Webb earned second team honors at defensive line after ranking fifth in the league in sacks and eighth in tackles for loss.
ESU was 4-7 last year with three losses by eight points or less.
