HORNETS FINISH IN TOP TEN AT REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
November 7, 2009-Both the Emporia State men’s and women’s cross country team’s placed in the top ten of the team standings at the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championships in Abilene, Texas on Saturday. The Hornet men were seventh while the women placed tenth.
Will Hohmeier paced the men with a 22nd place finish over the 10K course. Skyler Delmott was ESU’s second runner in 30th place. As a team ESU was just seven points out of fifth place.
Katie Mona led the women, placing 22nd in the 6K event. Kathryn Davison was the second runner for ESU, finishing in 48th place.
