Assistant CoachJory Collins returned to Emporia State in December of 2006 after spending a semester in Texas. He was a graduate assistant at ESU from 2004-06 and served three years as a student assistant for the Lady Hornets from 2000-03. The Lady Hornets are 117-39 with him on the bench.
His on the court responsibilities include coaching post play this year. As a graduate assistant he was
responsible for the Lady Hornets strength and conditioning program, travel and film exchange. He
coordinated fall and spring workouts while a student assistant.
He taught fifth grade a Lowther South Intermediate School in Emporia during the 2003-04 school year.
Collins graduated from ESU in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and received his master's degree in 2006.
