December 31, 2008-Cassondra Boston had 22 points and nine assists while Ida Edwards recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 16 points and 12 rebounds as #9 Emporia State defeated Neb.-Omaha 85-67 on New Year's Eve in White Auditorium.
The Lady Hornets jumped out to a 7-0 lead to start the game and never trailed.
ESU is back in action on Saturday when they play host to Southwest Baptist. Tip-off from White Auditorium is set for 5:30 p.m.
NOTES:
ESU has now won 16 straight in White Auditorium, the third longest streak in Lady Hornet history.
