March 3, 2008- All-American Michelle Stueve of the MIAA Regular Season Champion Lady Hornets was a unanimous selection as the Most Valuable Player in the MIAA by a vote of the league coaches. She is joined on the All-MIAA team by second team selection Cassondra Boston and honorable mention picks Ida Edwards and Andrea Leiker. Leiker was also a member of the All-Defensive Team.
Stueve became the MIAA's all-time scoring leader earlier this season and now has 2,322 career points. She needs one rebound to become just the third MIAA player to record 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. This season she is the MIAA's best three-point shooter in both makes and percentage, is ranked second in scoring and third in rebounding, free throw percentage and field goal percentage at the end of the regular season. This is the third straight year Stueve has been a unanimous first-team All-MIAA performer after earning the league's Freshman of the Year award in 2005.
Boston

Edwards has averaged 13.4 points and 7.4 rebounds for the Lady Hornets after becoming eligible following the first semester. Leiker is 14th in the MIAA in scoring and is second in the league in three-point field goal percentage, fifth in free throw percentage and eight in made treys despite drawing the opponents top offensive threat in most games.
