November 12, 2007-The #3 Emporia State Lady Hornets was ahead 13-2 at the first media timeout and had four runs of at least 10-0 on their way to a 105-50 win over Tabor in exhibition action in White Auditorium.
Two-time All-American Michelle Stueve and newcomer Allie Renberg each had 26 points to lead five Lady Hornets in double figures. Last year's MIAA
Freshman of the Year Cassondra Boston had 10 points, eight assists and six steals for ESU. The Lady Hornets forced 36 turnovers and had 25 steals.
ESU will start the regular season on Friday as they play host to the Candlewood Suites/Mix 104.9FM Classic. The Lady Hornets play Cameron following #17 Missouri Western's game with Texas Woman's. Tip-off for ESU is set for 7:30 p.m.
