#24 LADY HORNETS WIN THIRD STRAIGHT
February 2, 2008--Michelle Stueve scored 22 points including a three pointer that capped a 14-2 Lady Hornet run in ESU's 77-64 won over Ft. Hays State on Saturday night in White Auditorium. Ida Edwards added a double double of 13 points and 13 rebounds while Andrea Leiker chipped in 20 points for ESU.
The Lady Hornets trailed 50-45 with 11:17 left when Cassondra Boston scored an old fashioned three-point play to start the 14-2 game deciding run. Leiker scored the final ten points including a seven of eight performance from the line in the last 2:47 for ESU.
The Lady Hornets maintained their position at the top of the MIAA and will take on Northwest Missouri on Wednesday. Tip-off from White Auditorium is set for 5:30 p.m.
