December 31, 2008-Emporia State used a 12-2 run that spanned halftime in an 86-80 come from behind victory over Neb.-Omaha on New Year's Eve in White Auditorium.
The Hornets got career highs from Adam Holthaus and Tim Niles off the bench as five players reached double figures for ESU. Holthaus had 14 points and Niles had 16 points and a career high eight rebounds for ESU. Lamar Wilbern had his fourth double-double of the season, tying his career high with 22 points and adding 10 rebounds for ESU.
ESU is back in action on Saturday when they play host to #3 Southwest Baptist. Tip-off from White Auditorium is set for 7:30 p.m.
