March 20, 2009 -- The #5 ESU baseball team had three errors and only scored three runs on 10 hits in a 7-3 loss to UCM. All ten ESU hits in the game were singles.
Jeremy Francis went two for four and scored a run as ESU struck first and led 3-0 in the top of the third, but the Mules answered with four runs in the third and fourth innings to go ahead for good. Ben Graham pitch 5.0 innings striking out five and allowing four earned runs.
The two teams will return to the field tomorrow for a double header tomorrow with a scheduled 2 p.m. first pitch.
