#12 NEBRASKA-OMAHA KNOCKS OFF MINNESOTA STATE IN ROUND ONE

May 12, 2008 -- Nebraska Omaha scratched across runs in the fifth and seventh inning as they overcame a MSU comeback to pull out a 2-1 victory. Both squads had indentical hits with six in the game.
Both pitchers went the distance in the game as Chris Kessinger picked up his 11th victory of the season. For the Mavericks Dustin Koca and Bryan Frew came through with RBI's.
Nebraska-Omaha will face Central Missouri at 7 p.m. tomorrow night while Minnesota State will await the loser of tonight's Emporia State-Concordia St. Paul game in tomorrow's 12 noon game.
