#23 CENTRAL MISSOURI WINS REGIONAL OPENER
Emporia, Kan.
May 15, 2008-- The Central Missouri Mules took game one of the Central Region with a 7-4 win over Wayne State in Emporia, Kan. The Mules scored four runs in the third inning and added three in the eighth to close out the win. For the Mules Ian Dykins homered while Alex Koch homered for the Wildcats.
Ian Delaet added two RBI for the Wildcats who got as close as three runs twice in the ballgame. Mark Carey took the win for the Mules to move to 10-1 on the season. Chris Matlock picked up his 10th save of the season for UCM in the win.
