		ESU 11TH IN DIRECTOR'S CUP STANDINGS June 11, 2008--On the strength of three top ten finishes, Emporia State University placed 11th in the final 2007-08 U.S. Sports Academy Director’s Cup standings with 568.50 points. It is the highest finish ever for Emporia State and the fourth straight year ESU has finished in the top 50 nationally out of nearly 300 NCAA Division II schools. Complete Release
		24 HORNETS NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-MIAA June 9, 2008-A total of 24 Emporia State student-athletes were honored by the conference for their success in the classroom and in the athletic arena. Six men and 18 women were named Academic All-MIAA for carrying a cumulative 3.50 grade-point average in two terms of attendance at the nominating institution, and earning All-MIAA honors in their sport over the past season. 		ESU BASKETBALL RANKS NATIONALLY IN ATTENDANCE June 12, 2008-Emporia State basketball fans again proved they are some of the best in the country as the Lady Hornet basketball team ranked second and the men 11th in the nation in average attendance during 2007-08. 		ESU ATHLETICS GOLF TOURNAMENT & AUCTION June 9, 2008-The Emporia State Athletic Department has ended another spectacular year on the courts and in the fields with another successful Golf Tournament and Auction. After the first review of the books, over $22,000 was raised from the combined auction on Friday night and the golf action on Saturday. Complete Release Photo Gallery
