Welcome Hornets!

Welcome to the 2012-2013 academic year at Emporia State University! This year is going to be full of exciting and new opportunities for every member of our campus, our community, and our experience at ESU.

We hope that you enjoy your experience and find your passion on campus with over 100 Recognized Student Organizations to get involved in. By combining experience with dedication, the members of ASG are here to serve the students of Emporia State by being the voices and representation for you here on campus and across the state.

The Associated Student Government exists to serve. We feel the definition of service is to be proactive and diligent in our efforts to improve the quality of the students experience at Emporia State. We provide a variety of student service programs to help our students. Our group of Senators are here to serve YOU, the student, and to help our organizations in any way that we can. ASG also helps in providing events for our students to take place in!

Services

Our service programs include Free Legal Counseling, U.S.A Today's Collegiate Readership program and our Safe Ride Program called Corky's Cab. Corky's Cab is a safe ride program that allows transport from one bar establishment to the student's place of residence to ensure the safety of our students.

Another service we provide is a free Legal Counsel to all of our students to discuss any legal matters that may come up while at Emporia State. This is with attorney Larry Putnam and occurs Monday and Tuesdays from 2:00 to 4:30pm.Free Legal Counsel
