Welcome, Hornets!
On behalf of the Associated Student Government, welcome to the 2007-2008 academic year at Emporia State University! With over 140 Recognized Student Organizations, I encourage you to get involved and find your passion. Remember that ASG members are here to serve you as the voice of the student body. We are your representation on campus and across the state, making sure that all hear the voice of students!
You may reach members of the Associated Student Government in the Center for Student Involvement office located on the Memorial Union Mainstreet, by phone at 341-5481, or email me at asgpres@emporia.edu. We welcome any concerns or questions you may have. Best of luck and success in your academics and student involvement!
Go Hornets!
Courtney George, President
Associated Student Government
Hello, ESU Students.
Emporia State University remains an excellent place to grow, learn, and achieve. This institution provides the tools necessary for every individual to succeed. That is why I am honored to serve as Associated Student Government’s Vice President for the 2007-2008 academic year.
Associated Student Government, ASG, is the student-run representation to the university, community, and state. We provide many services to students from Corky’s Cab, the safe ride program, to allocating over 90,000 dollars to Recognized Students Organizations.
Myself, the president, and every individual involved with ASG will work diligently this year to make sure the students’ voice is heard through programs, services, and policy-making. If you have any questions or concerns for Associated Student Government, feel free to stop by the Center for Student Involvement located in the Memorial Union.
I look forward to serving YOU this year!
Elissa A. Hadley, Vice-President
Associated Student Government
