University Assessment Committee Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, May 3, 2006 – 2:00 pm
Kansas Business Hall of Fame (CH 205)
Present: Anthony Ambrosio, Carol Kohr, Daniel Kolb, Neal Luo, Marie Miller (Acting Chair), Brenda Nichols, Dennis Pelsma, Christy Schreck, Rod Sobieski, and Derek Zelmer.
- Approval of Minutes:
Minutes from the April 5, 2006 meeting were distributed and approved. - Assessment Forum Agenda
Dr. Ambrosio distributed handouts for review. “Assessment Forum, Call for Posters” was the first to be reviewed. He asked for feedback regarding the topics on each page. The Forum date is set for September 28, 2006. Personal invitations for poster presenters will be sent next week. We will follow up again in August with campus communications and flyers. Rod suggested we have incentives to stimulate attendance. - Other:
Dr. Ambrosio gave an update from his trip. The publisher liked the idea of a manual with different content area – showed interest, not sure of software. There is higher interest for further development, grant opportunities.
