You will find hands-on practical strategies to develop a multi-level assessment approach that both students and faculty will discover relevant and useful for teaching and learning. Users will design assessment protocols (outcomes, evidence, criteria, and standards) as well as engage in alignment processes for curriculum development/review and institutional accountability. Attention is given to student roles in outcomes-based assessment and to faculty scholarship of teaching.

This presentation is focused on articulation and definition of ESU intentions for students, ESU faculty perspectives and values, and ESU’s internal accountability. A design for student-centered assessment will be developed to assure the campus that intentions are met, faculty and student relevance is achieved, and institutional effectiveness is supported.
