Student Chapter NAEA
National Art Education Association

Emporia State University's Student National Art Educational Association is an organization open to all ESU students, especially art education candidates.  The SNEA is a student chapter affiliated with the Kansas and National Art Education Associations.  Membership in these organizations include K-12 teachers, art administrators, museum educators, arts council staff, university professors and students throughout the United States, Canada, and abroad; a network of nearly 18,000 art educators speaking the same language, sharing the same concerns, and promoting a common mission:

To advance art education through professional development, service, advancement of knowledge, and leadership.

SNEA activities include:

1)  Social activities that strenthen networking among art majors;

2)  Special workshops that go beyond the experiences of regular class experiences;

3)  Participation in state and national events, including conventions, workshops and special events; and

4)  Networking opportunities that position graduating students to find employment
