The Department of Art is one of approximately 250 art departments nationally that are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.  With 14 full-time and 11 part-time faculty, our 2007 fall enrollment is 186 majors.

We offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art with studio concentrations in ceramics, engraving arts, glass, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Pre-art therapy preparation is available through our Bachelor of Science degree in Art with emphasis in Psychology. Students wishing to teach art in preschool through high school pursue our Bachelor of Science in Education - Art. The Bachelor of Arts degree in Art is often pursued by students who are interested in Art History or any second area of interest. We also offer a Bachelor of Science degree in Art for students who are interested in combining two areas of interest to design a degree according to personal goals.
