Student Health Center

• Staff available from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, extended hours
  until 7PM on Thursdays during school year.
• Office visits are pre-paid with your Student Health Fee, modest
  charges for lab work and prescriptions.
• Health Education programming is scheduled in the Residence Halls and other campus locations.
• Kansas Board of Regents has mandated that all persons living in campus
  housing be informed of the risks of Bacterial Meningitis and be
  vaccinated. A refusal option is available.
  • The vaccine will be available for $100 on move-in day for those who
    have been unable to get it prior to arrival on campus. Will not
    receive room key until this requirement has been met.
• Health insurance is recommended for all students. A plan is available
  through the University for those no longer covered under parent's
  policy
• Insurance will be billed only to the plan endorsed by the Board of
  Regents. Others will receive a statement/receipt that can be turned
  into their private insurance company if desired.
