Hornet Connection
All new students are required to attend ESU's enrollment program, "Hornet Connection". During this event you will:
- meet future classmates
- learn about college life and become more familiar with campus resources
- have your picture taken and receive your Hornet ID card
- meet with your academic advisor
- ENROLL IN CLASSES!
This is a day-long event, so please plan accordingly. You will be walking to and from buildings so wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket or sweater; Kansas weather is unpredictable!
In order for you to have the best Hornet Connection experience, walk-ins are discouraged.

1st Year (Freshmen) Hornet Connection Dates: Transfer students may attend if they are unable to attend the Transfer dates, however programming is geared toward first-time, first-year students.Check-in is at 8:30 a.m.

Hornet Connection Module Opportunities (NEW 2012)
- For transfer students or first-year students who have siblings who are/have attending college.
- Must complete and pass the Hornet Connection module at least 48 hours prior to attending one of the dates listed below.
- Check-in begins at 11 AM

Register for your Hornet Connection date today!
- Hornet Connection fees are $50 per student. The fee covers your student informational packet, meal, Hornet ID card, Hornet Connection parking permit, and an enrollment processing fee. There is a $25 fee for the first parent/guest and a $5 fee for each additional parent/guest which includes a parent/guest packet of current information about ESU, meals and refreshments.

After you register for a date to attend Hornet Connection, you will receive confirmation from the Admissions office by mail or email.
