FINANCIAL AID

Early Financial Aid Estimator

Ok, so we told you we would give you the truth and here it is… ESU is affordable! But that doesn’t mean that paying for college is going to be a no-brainer! We don’t want to you to worry about figuring it out on your own… we want to help! We participate fully with Federal Financial Aid programs that will provide you with assistance if you are eligible.  The first step to getting Financial Aid is to complete the FAFSA form.

You might be thinking, “FAFSA? What’s the FAFSA?”.  If you are, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!  The FAFSA form is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. In normal terms, it is the application you will fill out to find out what types of student loans and grants you can get, and how much money you can receive. If you aren’t 24 you will need your family to sit down and fill out the FAFSA with you. Why, you ask?  You have to have your family tax information to fill out the form. So sit down with and work through the FAFSA together.  Visit our friends at the Office of Financial Aid website for greater detail about the FAFSA and Financial Aid in general.
