Black and Gold Visits Days and Saturday Visits
Emporia State will host several Black and Gold Visit Days and Saturday Visits throughout the year. Each special visit will include all of the activities of a regular small group visit plus an Academic Fair and drawings for two (2) $1,000 scholarships for students who apply for admission to ESU on or by the visit day. The visit on February 3, 2012 includes a Classroom Experience where students attend a sample class with an ESU professor. We anticipate large groups for each of the days, so we encourage you to sign up early in order to help us prepare for your visit.
Multicultural Leadership Day
Emporia State will host a Multicultural Leadership Day on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. The Leadership Day will begin at 9:30 AM and will include Admissions and Multicultural Affairs presentations, a Residence Hall tour, and lunch. Students will meet current ESU students and faculty. There will be drawings for two (2) $1,000 scholarships for students who apply for admission to ESU on or by the visit day. If you are coming with a group, please have your sponsor contact us so that we can plan for your group!
Transfer Day
Our next Transfer Day will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in the ESU Memorial Union. Transfer credit and academic department information will be covered. In addition, Admissions, Financial Aid, Scholarships will be discussed, and drawings will be held for two (2) $1,000 scholarships for students who apply for admission to ESU on or by the visit day. Parents and guests are welcome. Lunch will be provided and there will be drawings for ESU door prizes.
