The best way to see what Emporia State has to offer is to visit campus! Admissions hosts visits when classes are in session Monday through Friday except for holidays. Visits for the fall semester will conclude on December 18, 2009, resume on January 13 and continue through May 14, 2010. Visits will include an Admissions and Financial Aid presentation, a Residence Hall tour, complimentary lunch for students, and a Campus Tour. An Academic Appointment with a faculty member will be based on availability. Additional lunches can be purchased with cash for $5.40.
All visits include:
- Admissions and Financial Aid presentation with an ESU Admissions Counselor
- Residence Hall Tour
- Complimentary lunch for the student in Lakeview Cafeteria (when available). Additional lunches can be purchased with cash for $5.40.
- Campus Tour with a Student Ambassador
- Academic Appointment (when available)
Black and Gold Visits Days and Saturday Visits
Emporia State will host several Black and Gold Visit Days and Saturday Visits throughout the year. Each special visit will include all of the activities of a regular small group visit plus an Academic Fair and drawings for two (2) $1,000 scholarships for students who apply for admission to ESU on or by the visit day. We anticipate large groups for each of the days, so we encourage you to sign up early in order to help us prepare for your visit. Choose your visit day from the drop down box below.
Transfer Days - Tuesday, November 10, 2009 and Tuesday, March 2, 2010
We will be hosting Transfer Days on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 and Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 11:30 am to 3 pm in the ESU Memorial Union. Transfer credit and academic department information will be covered. In addition, Admissions, Financial Aid, Scholarships will be discussed, and a Student Involvement fair will be held as well as a drawings for two (2) $1,000 scholarships for students who apply for admission to ESU on or by the visit day. Parents and guests are welcome. Lunch will be provided and there will be drawings for door prizes. Choose your visit day from the drop down box below.
Appointments with individual coaches aren't included in regular campus visits. Students are encouraged to contact coaches directly. For information about ESU Athletics and a listing of the coaches for each sport, go to http://www.emporia.edu/athletics.
