Stacy Tuel, Admissions Counselor
My name is Stacy Tuel and I am an Admissions Counselor at ESU. I am originally from Olathe, and I graduated from ESU in 2002 with a BSE in Social Sciences Education. I returned to Emporia to continue my education by seeking my Master's Degree in Instructional Design and Technology.
My official title at ESU is: Admissions Counselor
Yes, I did things on campus! I was involved in: Sigma Sigma Sigma and ESU Ambassadors.
I chose Emporia State because: of the teachers college, location and size.
If you’re on campus, you’ve just got to see: the Sunken Garden.
Visiting Prague, Oklahoma and my Aunt's hair salon
Me and Corky outside of Plumb Hall
By far… the coolest person I met at ESU was: Director Kevin Smith (Silent Bob). He directed Mallrats, Clerks, Dogma and The Adventures of Jay and Silent Bob.
My favorite class at ESU was: anything from Dr. Christopher Lovett in the Social Sciences Department.
If you saw me on TV, you’d probably be watching: anything on DIY because I like to fix things in my house.
As I walked across the stage at graduation, I thought to myself: now I am really gonna be a tax payer!
If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be: cookies!
My most embarrassing moment at ESU was: the time I fell down the stairs of Plumb Hall and into a professor of mine.
If money were no object, my future plans would be to: do whatever I felt like that day!
The BEST part about my job is: Hangin' out with potential students
