Laura Eddy, Director of Admissions

Hello from Admissions! My name is Laura Eddy. I've been the Director for four years, and I look forward to meeting you at SWARM!

My official title at ESU is: Director of Admissions

Yes, I did things on campus! I was involved in: the Biology Club, A Cappella Choir, and  Xi Phi.

I chose Emporia State because: of the Biology Department, and the opportunities to travel in the US and abroad.

The best reason to get involved on campus is: that you get to meet new people from around the world.

I love taking pictures, and caught this one on a stormy spring evening.

By far… the coolest person I met at ESU was:  Ms. Elizabeth Boles, my Comp I teacher.

My favorite class at ESU was: Multicultural Counseling. It was great to learn about new cultures through speakers, movies and hands-on activities

In my spare time, I like to: spend time with my horses, go hiking, and make quilts.

My current top three music groups/singers are: Casting Crowns, John Waller, Hillsong

If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be: pizza!

If you had never read this, you wouldn't know that I: was a forest firefighter in Idaho.

If money were no object, my future plans would be to: visit each country throughout the world.

The BEST part about my job is: being at SWARM and meeting students and families that I've talked with by email and phone!
