Classified Employee of the Year

The Classified Employee of the Year award is presented to the person who best meets the award criteria, as determined by the ESU Awards Committee. The committee is made up of ESU classified employees. Candidates for this year's award must have been employed by the university for at least one year as of December 31 of the current academic year, thus the distinction of being that year's recipient. Candidates were nominated by their co-workers. Criteria for selecting the Classified Employee of the Year include:

• Performance on job in responsible manner
• Promoting good-will with students Interaction between co-workers, other departments, and the public
• Self-enrichment (classes, workshops attended)
• Loyalty to ESU
• Campus involvement (committees, activities)

The Emporia State Federal Credit Union sponsors the award for the Classified Employee of the Year.
