Emporia State University is here to support you in your success. Through the Office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion and the Center for Student Involvement, there are a number of recognized student organizations that help cultivate cultural pride and promote awareness of your unique student experiences through event programming and campus projects.

Student organizations

Chinese Students and Scholars Organization: A non-profit organization whose members are students and scholars coming from China, this association promotes and enhances happiness, harmony and unity among members and fosters acquaintance through information, activities and mutual assistance.

Diversity Ambassadors: Diversity Ambassadors advocate and educate students on campus by engaging in active learning, planning cultural heritage events and focusing on community engagement.

Global Hornets: Spread cultural awareness and help increase interactions between domestic and international students at Emporia State with activities, programs and more.

Japanese Association Sakura: J.A. Sakura facilitates cultural exchanges between Japan and other countries, provides support to Japanese students and shares the culture of Japan with other students from all over the world.

Muslim Student Organization: Striving to build unity through diversity and education, the Muslim Student Organization at ESU provides programs for people of all backgrounds, levels of knowledge and levels of piety to learn and meet with other Muslims on and off campus.
