Title IX University Policy + Process

Emporia State University works to create a culture of access, belonging, and accountability

Title IX Information

Emporia State University works to create a culture of access, belonging, and accountability for all members of the Hornet community. That includes supporting those impacted by discrimination or harassment. We strive to foster an environment in which all members of our University community are free from discrimination and harassment – including sexual misconduct. Such conduct violates the values of our institution and disrupts the living, learning, and working environment for students, faculty, staff, and other community members.

The University prohibits discrimination on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sex, marital status, national origin, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, parental status, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, ethnicity, or any other factors which cannot lawfully be considered.
