PH 192 Physics I Recitation (1 Credits)
Lecture: TR 9:00 am – 9:50 am in SH 30 Textbook: Physics for Scientists and Engineers (8th edition), by Serway and Jewett, Publisher: Thompson, ISBN: 0-495-82781-9. Tools: Scientific calculator. Course Description: This course is a complement to the lecture. This course will focus on improving student’s problem solving skills and understanding of the topics discussed in lecture. Academic Honesty Policy: The following ESU “Academic Honesty Policy” pertains and will be enforced: “Academic dishonesty, a basis for disciplinary action, includes but is not limited to activities such as cheating and plagiarism (presenting as one’s own the intellectual or creative accomplishments of another without giving credit to the source or sources).” Academic dishonesty can result in severe penalties. Possible penalties may include an assignment grade of F, a course grade of F, or dismissal from the university. Student Accommodations Statement: Emporia State University will make reasonable accommodations for persons with documented disabilities. Students need to contact the Director of Disability Services and the professor as early in the semester as possible to ensure that classroom and academic accommodations are implemented in a timely fashion.
